Welcome to
Winchmore Hill
Winchmore Hill is a small Buckinghamshire village nestled in a hidden spot between Amersham and Beaconsfield. The village has around 260 houses, the Memorial Hall, the Methodist Chapel, a beautiful cricket club and two of the best pubs in the area. But, what sets it apart is the community. With excellent local schools, high-speed broadband and fast links to London, the village has attracted numerous young families who have taken their place alongside older residents to make a vibrant and lively community. Winchmore Hill Residents' Association organises a busy programme of events ranging from the annual bonfire, a carol concert and regular litter picks. Remembrance Sunday
Join us at the Memorial Hall on November 14th 2021 for this year's service of remembrance.
Meanwhile, last year's annual remembrance service was socially distanced on the Common where we remembered the 18 village men who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars. This video combines pictures of some of those individuals together with maps of where they lives and where they died with photos of today's villagers laying a wreath. We will remember them.
