It was a tough, hilly test out on the trails for the Run Hill Run squad at this year’s Shardeloes 10k, brilliantly organized by Chiltern Harriers AC.

The women’s field featured standout runs, highlighted by Anna Housley, who stormed through the course to finish 51st overall, 5th woman, and 1st in the F40 category in 48:03. Harriet Cowens kept up the fine momentum, placing 65th overall and 8th woman in 50:22.
Rounding out another great team outing, Andrew Jackson battled through the hills to record a time of 53:18 in 76th position, while Kate Allaway put in a fantastic effort to finish 94th overall and 25th woman in 56:15. A huge thank you goes out to the Winchmore Hill Residents’ Association for providing the team with fantastic t-shirts. The team looked great as they did our wonderful village proud.
