Spring Litter Pick

What a fantastic turnout for our village litter pick! A huge thank you to everyone who came and in just a few hours we collected bags and bags of rubbish), including the usual bottles, cans, and crisp packets, plus a few more unusual finds that gave us all a laugh. The village is looking much tidier now, and it really shows what we can do when we all muck in together.

We think the best find was a handbag, found by young Ada and Finlay and who were awarded a £20 Amazon gift voucher for it.  The biggest haul was a group who teamed up, finding the top of a large metal drum and lugging it back – well done to Beatrix and Frida, Neve and Freddie, Reuben and Arlo and George and Archie – each sibling pair was awarded a £10 Amazon gift voucher.   

Huge thanks to everyone who took part and give yourselves a pat on the back. Great community spirit all round!
