We are pleased to report that the new school year has started very well and we are delighted to welcome our new Reception class to our school. All of our new children have settled in well and are getting used to their ‘big’ school routine. It is wonderful to welcome both new and former
parents to the school.
We will be taking the children to The Lookout Centre, in Bracknell as part of our Science Curriculum and taking part in their workshops. We also have several thriving after school clubs including Film, Yoga, Multi Sports and Football as well as our regular morning multi-sports club.
We are so excited to offer weekly Forest School in our beautiful Forest School area. The children are thoroughly enjoying the outdoor learning and exploration and are busy acquiring new skills. We have recently reinvigorated our garden area and the children have been busy planting and
growing vegetables.
Our Parents and Friends group are working hard on fundraising ideas and have collected apples from parents, grandparents and village residents to make into excellent quality apple juice which raises money for the school. The children will all design their own labels for the juice and
a winner will be chosen, whose label will appear on the bottle. Please email the school office if you would like to make a purchase - office@coleshillceinfant.school.
We are hoping to run our annual Christmas Bazaar in the village hall this year on Saturday 23rd November, as well as a carol concert for parents and villagers and our annual Nativity Play.
On the first Tuesday of every month, there will be a coffee van visiting the school – please take the opportunity to come and treat yourself to a hot drink; some of the proceeds will go to the school.
We are hosting Open Mornings for prospective parents – our next one will be on Tuesday 19th November at 9.30am. If you know anyone in the surrounding area who has a child who will be starting school next September, please share these dates and our website link to promote our lovely
Best Wishes
