Community Lunch in June

Summer Community Lunch - 25th June 

On a glorious summer afternoon last month, 25 members of our community gathered for a relaxed and cheerful lunch together. 

The simple lunch consisted of a refreshing gazpacho - homemade, which was especially welcome in the current heatwave and proved to be a great talking point around the tables, together with Neena’s delicious sourdough - a marriage made in heaven!!

The lunch was a wonderful opportunity for neighbours and friends to catch up, meet new faces, and enjoy unhurried conversation. Laughter filled the room, and the spirit of community was very much in evidence throughout the afternoon.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped prepare, serve, and clear away, and to all who came and made the event such a success. 

We look forward to many more occasions where we can come together and enjoy good food and good company, though due to the summer holidays, the community lunch is also taking a break until September.  Hope to see many of you again then!
