Open Gardens raised a record amount

This year's Open Gardens was another roaring success with visitors and locals enjoying sunshine and hospitality amid some superb looking gardens. We are pleased to report that with a record number of visitors and extra fund raising from Bill in his cab, we were able to give over £2200 to support the amazing work of Rennie Grove. The Memorial Hall raised a valuable £750 from the sale of refreshments and even the allotments generated a boost to funds from plant sales.

Thank you to all our gardeners for making this such a special day and to Karen and her team for organising what has become a landmark calendar fixture and brings on the summer every year.
