It’s been another joyful season at Toddles, filled with special moments and celebrations for both children and families - from welcoming new babies to sharing birthday milestones and enjoying festive fun together.
We have also been delighted to welcome lots of new mums, dads, grandmas, grandpas, childminders and caregivers - not only from the village, but from neighbouring towns and villages too. We have been embracing busy and happy play from dressing up, arts and crafts, ride-on fun, toys for all ages, and of course some well-earned snacks! It’s been wonderful to see our Toddles community continue to grow, bringing together so many friendly faces and creating new friendships.
Toddles was full of festive cheer in the lead-up to Christmas. We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor: Father Christmas and his trusty Elf, who brought smiles, excitement, and a touch of magic to the morning. Each child received a special Christmas book and enjoyed a morning full of fun, laughter and seasonal joy.

More recently, as we move towards the warmer months, we have loved celebrating Easter together. The children had a fantastic time taking part in our Easter egg hunt, searching for chocolate treats and mini chicks!
Looking ahead, we’re excited for more opportunities to enjoy outdoor play. The children love being let loose outside and making the most of the wonderful garden at the Memorial Hall. To help us make this space even more fun and engaging, we would really welcome any donations of outdoor play equipment.
It has been a season that perfectly reflects what Toddles is all about: friendship, community and creating happy memories for our little ones. We look forward to many more mornings filled with play, laughter and sunshine in the months ahead.
As always, Toddles runs every Wednesday during term time from 10:00–11:30am, and everyone is warmly welcome. Come along for a chat, a cuppa, and plenty of play!
We hope to see you there soon.
